ロンドンのThe Wharves、グラスゴーのThe Rosy Crucifixion、注目の両UKガールズボーカルサイケガレージバンドによるスプリットLPがSoft Powerからリリース。The Wharvesは結成から間もない今年2月にUpset The Rhythm主催のライブでBleached, Sean Nicholas Savageと共演、元Kasms、そして昨年Soft PowerからカセットリリースのあるTrogonsのGemma Fleetらによるロンドンのガールズトリオ。GemmaにとってはKasmsでのバンドメイトでもあるRory Attwellがミックスとマスタリングを手掛ける6トラック収録。The Rosy Crucifixionは地元グラスゴーでVeronica Falls, Cover Girl, Iceage、さらにはThe Fallのライブサポートも務めた同じくガールズボーカルの3人組。50's〜60'sのカルトロックバンドFreddie & the Hitch-hikersの"Sinners"のカバーも含む強烈ガレージサイケロックンロールの6トラックを収録。これまで7"やカセットのリリースが中心だったSoft Powerにとってはレーベル第1弾作品であったTheoretical Girlの2010年のアルバム以来となるレーベル第2弾LP作品。
